Dr Abhishta Bhandari

Dr Abhishta Bhandari graduated from James Cook University and has gained broad clinical experience across general practice, emergency medicine, intensive care, and rural healthcare throughout Queensland.

Abhishta enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a particular interest in preventative medicine, chronic disease management, mental health, and the role of emerging technologies in improving patient care. He believes in a holistic, patient-centred approach, working collaboratively with patients to help them achieve their health goals and maintain a healthy, active lifestyle.

Alongside his clinical work, Abhishta has a strong academic and research background, with a Master's degree in Molecular Imaging from the University of Queensland and numerous publications exploring artificial intelligence and medical imaging. He is passionate about using advances in medicine and technology to improve healthcare outcomes.

Outside of work, Abhishta enjoys staying active at the gym, exploring new technologies and their potential to improve everyday life, and spending quality time with his partner discovering new wellness experiences and places to unwind.
